Boy, it has been a while....

Seems like I've done nothing but work, eat, sleep and stuff over the last 9 months.  We moved house in February, to Lisarow, where we're renting.  Saw a house we liked back in Narara in April, bought it in May, but it had tenants in who have a lease until mid-November and don't want to move!!

So now we are waiting until November, praying that they will move out without any hassles.  Tonight, we are having the party for Laura's 21st.  She actually had her birthday on August 28th.  Looks like it's going to be a blast.  (BIG Thank Yous to Kevin and Deborah Brown for hosting it!!).  Maybe I'll even post some photos.

Anyway, more jobs to do so better go.

Always act better than you feel...........(cos then you'll feel better!)

PS.....here's a picture of Laura and I before we left for the "Hats Off to Dad" fathers day dinner.Hats Off

Apologies to all.  Haven't updated in a while.  (Thanks for the prod, Mel!).  Christmas was great.....great pressies, great food, great time with family and friends.

Had a few days off work and was able to catch up on missing sleep, having fun with the young folks here at Gosford, (pretending that I was young and cool again!).

Went to the All-Star basketball game at Sydney entertainment centre with Joy, Dan, Laura, Mel, Eli and Crystal.  Night was good, but made better when we went to Pancakes on the Rocks for dinner after.  WooHoo!  Just as well my doctor doesn't read my Xanga!!!

Anyway, more soon.

Always act better than you feel!

Well, I have been busy and realise that blogs still go on .

Preached at Bankstown yesterday for their annual Bible School presentation day.  Aren't kids great!  Truly, Solomon knew what he was saying, "Children are a gift from the Lord.  The fruit of the womb is a reward.  Like arrows in the hands of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth.  How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." Ps 127:3-5.

The kids responded to my short talk and to receiving their gifts and it really encouraged me.  I am also blessed because I got to visit with my daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter tonight for a supposed tree decorating evening.  We didn't get a lot of decorating done, but we really enjoyed being together.  Hope you all are blessed over the coming weeks.

Until next time,

Vaya con Dios.

Wow!  You guys knock me out!  Thanks for all the votes of confidence......I'll try and keep up with things.

I thought I would take advantage of the quietness this evening and so I took my bride out for a Mexican dinner........mmmmmmmmm!  Chimichangas, bean dip, fish in mushroom sauce, guacamole!  What more can a man ask!

Anyway, should be working on a talk for the weekend, so will go and wish you all a fond goodnight.

Vaya con Dios......
